Chairperson, Board of Directors
In addition to being a freelance videographer and recording artist, Michelle Dunn is a classically trained multi-genre flutist/composer/ producer. Her fusion of diverse musical styles culminate in a rich electroacoustic sound that has gained popularity in both the classical and non-classical music worlds.
Her latest album, AWAKENING, is a cross-genre project producing a seamless integration of indigenous / world flutes and has earned two Global Music awards for both “Album” and “Mixing/Sound Editing.”
Michelle’s talents personify the term “multi-faceted” and carry her far beyond the boundaries of typical flutist/performer/musician. She is the founder and executor of her own record label, production company, publishing company, and true to her “indie artist” nature and “do it yourself” attitude, Michelle is self-produced and records almost exclusively on her own label.
Michelle is a founding member of NCFO (flute/piccolo), taking over as Chairman of the Board of Directors in May of 2018. She is an alumna of East Carolina University, Old Dominion University, and Meredith College.
